For more than three decades, I have been helping couples navigate complex problems and significant life transitions. As an Arizona attorney and divorce mediator with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling, I bring a unique combination of legal knowledge, mediation expertise, and insight into the human dynamics that often drive conflict.

Today, I focus exclusively on divorce mediation because I believe families deserve a better option than the traditional adversarial divorce process.

My path to mediation began long before Modern Mediation was created.

Early in my legal career, I became increasingly interested in the people behind the legal issues. While legal rights and obligations are important, many of the most difficult challenges families face during life transitions involve communication, emotions, parenting concerns, family dynamics, and uncertainty about the future.

Those interests led me to earn a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and ultimately shaped the way I approach conflict resolution today.

After years of practicing law and observing the limitations of traditional litigation, I founded a mediation practice built around a different philosophy. I wanted to help couples resolve disputes through productive conversations, informed decision-making, and practical problem-solving rather than courtroom battles.

The response was overwhelming.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping more than 2,000 couples navigate divorce and family transitions. That experience reinforced my belief that most people are capable of reaching thoughtful agreements when provided with the right process, information, and guidance.
